Drinking enough water & cutting caffeine

Hi everyone. I'm new to the group. I want to start out my program by making sure I drink 8-8oz glasses of water daily but right now I typically drink 2 (yes two!) 2- liter bottles a day and really find it hard not to start drinking it right away when I get up. Any suggestions?

    DeeDee--as for dealing with drinking so much soda...a friend started limiting herself to having soda only when she went out to eat. That way she would allow herself to have it as a treat so she didn't feel like she was depriving herself. Also, get a great water bottle that you like and keep it full, carry it around with you and you will find yourself drinking more and more water. You have to keep it accessible so you don't revert to the old, unhealthy ways. Best of luck!
