I wish i had an elliptical!!!!
i was planning on taking my daughter out in her stroller and doing my walk/run. my husband left super early so i couldn't do it this morning. anyway, it's soooooooooooooooo cold out there, there was frost! and i obviously dont' want to take her out running, her face would be red and drippy. i have stairs, i could run up and down, which i probably will, but i'm not always graceful on stairs. lol. oh well, gotta get it in somehow!
i'm working really hard to make my first weight loss goal of 20 pounds, only 3 more to go! so hopefully next monday i will be celebrating that! it was with these thoughts that drove me outside today, it warmed up and i really had no other excuse not to get out there for some cardio. lol. so ... i bundled up my daughter and threw her in the stroller, walked down to the nearest block, and started my walk,run. it wasn't 4 miles, but i ran faster. i went around 5 times, and i was soooo out of breath, but my goal was 5 and tomorrow i plan to do the same thing. it was funny because when it was time to run again my daughter would say, ready..set..go! i think she was having fun making me run. lol and then we both had a nice relaxing walk home. i told her i would let her out to walk when i was done with my work out. she agreed to the deal. what a cutie! so now i am guilt free and feeling much better. :)

i just had an GREAT workout! i did an hour of ddr, worked up a good sweat , then moved right into the core secrets! it was a great workout, i made it count as much as i could. it's hard to tighten your stomach muscles when you have rolls. hmm. but it was a good workout, and i stretched extra good tonight, i know that if i stretch well i feel so much better! i was careful not to push it too much, i know my boundaries :) but i was about 1/2 inch from kissing the floor! lol. anyway.

nutrition, about 1000 cals today, healthy healthy, and KIM i managed to sneak in 2 cups of broccoli at dinner! you'd be proud! lol, and because of it, i was too full to eat the pasta, just the 3oz chicken, and 2 cups o broccoli!
apparently i need to consume more veggies, so don't worry i'm off to the market to buy some in the morning! :)
THE CHALLENGE HAS BEEN COMPLETED, i love days like this where i feel i have accomplished so much! the hubby won't be home tonight, so i'm going to RELAX take a shower, watch some shows, and just chill.
