Losing weight

I have to thank Spark for all the help. I started in May and have worked hard to keep track of every bite and excercising. But I'm proof positive that if you set your mind to do something you can. Last May I took out my summer clothes and found that even my size 18's capris were to tight. I went shopping and most 18's were to tight. Thats when I decide to do something about it. That and the fact that I was having heartburn everyday and just walking up stairs from the basement to our bedroom (2 flights of stairs) I was totally winded.
I started my diet and found Spark. It is now 4 months later. I have dropped 42 lbs. I have retired not only my 18's but most of my 16's to.

I went shopping the other day and on a wim decided to try on some jeans. I took a 14 and a 12 into the dressing room figuring that the 12's would be to tight. I was surprised to find that not only were the 14's big but the 12 was a little lose too. I tried on a 10 and those were a bit tight but I bought them anyway and have them in my closet cause I know that in a couple more weeks they weill fit well

And to top it all off I have gone from a short 20 min less then a mile walk to anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half and 3 to 5 miles walk everyday. I can now run up from the basement no problem. The heartburn is just about completly gone. I went from popping antacids several times a day to maybe once or twice a month.

So spark really works. Just stick to it.

    emoticon way to go girl!! It feel's great. I lost a total of close to 70lbs and I have a lot more to go like 80 pounds but before I know it I'll be there. love to have you as a buddy.
