Today I made my Weight Watcher Goal

Wednesday, September 26, 2007

Today I did it! I accomplished something that I thought I could never do.

I made my weight watcher goal. I weighed in at 160 tonight.

I have a personal goal to be at 155. I need to have a 5 lbs window
to keep myself in check.

Maintenance will probably not be easy. I have been trying to lose this
weight since January 3, 2007, when I officially joined Weight Watchers at
213 lbs.

I now have 53 lbs gone from this body. It seems to be working a lot better
and faster than it had been.

I was on blood pressure medicine and choleserole medicine.

To date I have decreased my blood pressure medicine to one pill a day,
and am still on the choleserole medicine, although I have a doctor appointment on Monday and we will see what the doctor says then.

It has not been an easy task to lose the weight. I must say, though, Sparkpeople has made it a whole lot easier to do with all the support on the message boards and all the tips and recipes on the site.

I have told numerous people about this site.

I guess when they are ready, they will come. I am truly thankful to all the people at Sparkpeople for helping me achieve this goal, along with all the friends that I have made on these boards.

I know the journey is not over, it is really just beginning.

I hope to be with you all for a long time to come.

Love to all,
Granny G.

Congrats Granny G on your success. I know it wasn't an easy task. I also reached my goal doing WW one time ... and I fell of the wagon really hard. Keep up with what you're doing.
