Excuses, excuses

Here we go again- I've been reading everyone's blogs and suddenly remembered I hadn't done mine for the week. I was so pumped up to get exercising again and I had a great first week. The second week was awful. First I was sick for a few days then my uncle came unexpectedly from Florida and I hung out with him for a few days. Yes, these are excuses but they are what kept me from exercising. I did play t-ball with my cousins and ran around like crazy so I didn't totally crash.

Obviously this week I will be doing week one of the program again. I just hope I haven't lost the progress I made. You know what? If I did, then I will make up for it. I am done beating myself up and feeling guilty every time I'm not perfect. I am on this journey for the long haul, that much I do know!

The yogurt addiction is much better. I had some last night but that was after NOT having it for a few days. I know I won't do it cold turkey so I am happy with the progress. I lost 1.8 pounds this week so that sure made me happy! I only have a couple of pounds to get to my lowest weight that I've been! It felt great to see that scale move and gave me the motivation I need to have a great week!

Patty...just knowing that you got that scale to moving again....makes me know even more what I need to do to get going again. As always...your kick butt attitude is an inspiration!!! And dangit...if you are going to quit beating up on yourself...that is a mighty persuasive argument for me to follow suit! I am so happy for you that you saw those scales move in the right direction...and that you are so close to being back at your lowest and moving right on down the line girl. I am cheering you on all the way...shaking my pompoms and my groove thang too (yes, I know the visual is frightening on that, but what the heck, lol). So GO PATTY CAKE GO!! and I am gonna do my best to keep chugging along behind you : D

    Hey Patty,
Congrats on the weight loss. You go girl and way to stay away from the yogurt. I can say I have gained ten pounds but I am hoping it is all baby. Darn cravings are getting the best of me this time around.
