10% Gone

I got up this morning, dreading the thought of weighing and measuring, but at the same time I was curious. It has been almost a month since I started this journey. When I jumped on the scale this morning, I was 2 lb lighter! Not only that, but that loss of 2 pounds this week took me to the point where I had lost 10% of what I intend to lose! I sit here, drinking my coffee, and I am on an emotional high!

So what has changed? This week I was feeling a little down on myself... I was going through the motions and getting done what needed done, but I felt lethargic. Tuesday night I was struck with an idea. I was suddenly motivated to get up and go for a walk. Well, it wasn't as early as I intended, but I went 2 miles that day. I felt great and accomplished more that day than I have for a while! To make a long story shorter, I have kept up that routine... now today is only day 4, but it is better than nothing. In the afternoons I have been continuing my regular fitness routine! I feel good!
