Guarding your mouth and tongue

Tuesday, September 04, 2007

Proverbs 21: 23 He who guards his mouth and his tongue
keeps himself from calamity.

This verse can speak to us in many positive ways.

If we guard our mouth and tongue it will keep us from speaking when we should be silent. It would keep us from using hurtful words when we should be kind. It would keep us from eating more that we should or eating the right foods.

I am going to hold this verse close this week and hold in my thoughts and deeds are continue on this journey.
