D710DANCE says we should have pictures

And I'm going to do whatever she says. You can't argue with success. So this is the first time in probably 30 years that I have voluntarily taken a picture - actually asked someone to do it for me. It ain't pretty but I was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and I am very proud of that, though not my appearance.
So needless to say I got a workout today - a 7 hour work out. I think next year I'm going to sign up to work the registration booth.

I think you are awesome and I think you are beautiful inside and out. To me there is nothing more lovely than the hands of a person reaching out to help others. YOU are an inspiration.

You are absolutely beautiful! There is no way that all of the mud and dirt in the world could cover your beauty, nor that beautiful warm smile much less your wonderful spirit! I commend you for proudly posing and posting this picture to your page...months from now you'll be so glad that you did. Not only will you be proud of the difference that you will see in yourself, but you will be proud of the difference that you've made in someone's life as a result of your spirit of volunteerism. And I wish I was intelligent enough to express how much this blog means to me...you've literally moved me to tears. Thank you and bless you.

Hi Lynn.. You are such a inspiration, I know that I have told you that many times but it is always the first thought that pop's into my mind as I read your writings. I LOVE this picture! I used to work in a Cedar Shake & Shingle mill when I was younger and I ran a Bevel saw.. I was always so darned dirty but I made good money and I loved being outside, working with wood. You have such a good heart.. I wish I could just reach out and give you a big hug. Helping people in a venture like Habitat for Humanity is a wonderful way to give of yourself... I am a advocate for people with disabilities and this is something I would love to do someday.. I wonder how many calories you burned today? Wow, you go girl!!
    See ya tomorrow,

You motivated me to add my "before" pics to my page. What is there to be afraid of? We are all here for the same reason. Good luck my sister!
