Got my 15 minutes, it was ugly, but I got it - Preparation

I did not walk or get any exercise before I went to work today. Man, did that bother me. So I walked around the building on each of my 3 breaks. It's pitiful, but it's something. So I won't think ugly thoughts about myself tonight because I did actually get it done. I'm proud of what I've done since I've been on SP and I want to keep it that way.

I'm going to have to make preparation a part of my daily goals. I need to not only plan for the next day, but prepare for it. If I have a pitcher of ice water already in the fridge, I'll drink it. It's easy to grab breakfast on the way out if the turkey sausage is already cooked or cereal and milk are in containers and ready to go. Those are the two things I'm going to add to my daily goals. Make sure there's water in the fridge and breakfast is ready to go.
I'm not adding anything else to my daily goals for quite awhile, we all know if the list gets too long, we start to feel overwhelmed and - if I let this one thing go, I can let that go too. Then - since I'm not doing that I may as well let all of it go - and give up yet again. Not this time.

    You can do it!! It does help to plan but as youknow sometimes thins come up. I usually walk up stairs at work instead of using elevators and walk on my breaks as much as possible. Every little bit of activity counts. Stay encouraged, it can be done!!

    i found a recipe here for refrigerator bran muffins that only have 7 calories in them and the batter can last in the frig for a month.. I am going to try them out.. it would be a low calorie breakfast and snack food thats easy to pack for work and can be made up on the weekends. I still haven't got back out to walk yet but Steve is leaving to go fishing at 6:30 and i am going to go for a walk then. You should be proud of yourself! You got some of us out of our rut and off our buts and out walking too.. where would we be without you and your support?
