Day 3 of Calorie Streak

Here I am...still streaking! :) I lost another pound so am down to 177 pounds from 184 when I started. I am going to go to the beach later if it doesn't rain and will make sure I have another good calorie day. Things are starting to make sense to me....things I should have clued into a long time ago. I had a lifestyle change 4 years ago and developed depression and experienced inactivity and weight gain. Although I tried to get rid of the weight, I would fall off the wagon and gain more. Something is truly different this time. For one thing, the girls on the Lets Stay on Track II thread are real for me and seem to be going through the same thing I am and I feel we are all doing this together. Second, I am finding that I eat when I am bored. It is long and hard trying to lose weight when I am bored so just finding something fun to do helps. And I do mean fun. I don't think about food at all when I am having fun. Sometimes we fall into a rut and need to find something to add sparkle to our life. (Yes our husbands and children and jobs etc, add sparkle, but we need to play too). Here's to playing!
