I got all excited and joined the 30 in 90 challenge. Then I broke that down into weekly goals and man, that's a lot - given I'm used to doing exactly 0 minutes of exercise per day and just started walking 10 minutes a few days ago. That would have been a set up for failure for me. I think I'm going to have to back down and stick to my goal of 10 lbs per month over the next year. Whew, I'm tired just thinking about what those ladies do daily to attempt that challenge. I'm rooting for them!!!

Wait a minute, 30 lbs in 90 days is 10 lbs a month. What was I calculating?

    Good for you! I want to charge ahead too but one of the most important posts I have read here has cautioned to take baby steps so we don't set ourselves up for failure.. I had never thought of it like that before but looking back I can see this has lead to most all of my past failures.. Rosie has now jo9ned us in the 10 minute walk daily.. see what you started? I am smiling so big as I write this.. and I am thinking mini goals.. mini goals...
