I am blogging early today as I know I will be as busy as a one-legged man in a soccer ⚽️ game!

I have a very full day with yard work as well as the gym. Today is food prep day also, but I can get the chili in the crock pot and set it for 4 hours. The Basmati brown rice can go in my rice cooker. That takes 55 minutes but it is well worth the wait! The Quinoa only takes 20 minutes to prepare and the pickled beets are chilled in the fridge!

(Dost the man sound hungry and famished? .. perhaps the day should start with breakfast!)

    good job! How do you pickle the beets? I bought a couple..don't normally eat them. This might be a good option! emoticon emoticon
