2 more sleeps

Thursday, June 17, 2021

I am planning on leaving Sat. morning. I talked with a friend today about the new meds and her idea was to wait until I got to Seattle too. That way I would have people to help me if I needed it. I also sent a MY Chart message to my regular doctor and asked her if that was OK but did not hear back today. So hopefully tomorrow.

In my cleaning crazy I'm down to only vacuuming in one room for tomorrow and then packing. There will be one more load of laundry because I wore a shirt I want to take with me the other day.

thank fulls
1. it's almost here
2. going to call my son right now and tell him to not buy me any pop because I've managed to quit it. To bad all this water has me gaining 7 lbs. this week.
3. hair cut tomorrow

I have lots of errands tomorrow. After my hair cut and the post office I will bring Buck home and put him in his crate. It is just going to be too hot to take him with me. so I'll go pick up the drugs and then a stop at Walmart for things I've decided need to be new to take with my.

Don't worry about those 7 pounds - I find water weight quickly goes up and down, so I don't consider any change "real" until I've gotten the same number a couple weeks in a row! Sounds like you're organized and ready to take off. This will be so exciting, being able to see family again!

I'm glad you are going to hold off on your new medicines until you get to Seattle. There are really good medical doctors there if there are any problems plus you will be with family. The weather has turned great out here finally after rain and cold weather last week.

Wise choice, waiting until you get to Seattle, before starting the new medication. Then you should have plenty of time to see how it works on you. Better to be already there, than have any issues while driving alone for your vacation. So thrilled for you that you have gotten so much done before going west, and are anxious to get started with your trip. Yup, so many of us didn't take a vacation last year with the pandemic. Now people flying more than before making up for not going anywhere for quite awhile. So tonight I am wishing you safe travels to and from Seattle. Enjoy the time with your family. Have great adventures with each grandchild on their day with grandma. Don't forget to take your sewing machine along so you can work on something while in the motel each night.

    Safe travels!!

Good that you are waiting until you are in Seattle for the new meds. You don't need lots of bathroom stops or getting too tired to drive. Take care and have a fantastic vacation.
