The outdoors calls

Monday, June 14, 2021

We spent most of the day in the garden, weeding and hoeing, cutting
asparagus and lettuce. The new plants are all thriving and now I
must get out the door to feed the chicks and settle in the office.
Playtime is over. Have a great day.

sounds like it was a busy "playtime" yesterday and this morning. Lots and lots of chores to keep the home front percolating...

Hope you have a great rest of your day. Your garden sounds so emoticon Asparagus and lettuce are always my favorite; my garden is thriving, I have 2 kinds of tomato plants, This year we planted 3 beefsteak tomato plants and 3 Early Girl tomato plants, the plants are all flowering so will be having tomatoes on the vines soon. Every year my plants produce a huge harvest. We didn't plant herbs or any other veggies, can't eat them while I am undergoing the surgeries so decided to just leave it with the tomatoes, I will can some and prepare the rest for the freezer for cooking later in year. The rest of my garden are trees shrubbery and flowers with 2 hanging baskets. We just finished putting inthe cedar chips in the garden bed and around the trees. So now we enjoy

Stay safe and well.... emoticon emoticon
