One day closer

Saturday, June 12, 2021

Every single day is one more thing finished or completed before I leave on vacation. I still have not gotten to renew my military ID card because all the local machines are having problems updating. I will also need to take a trip to Mankato to get my oil changed and there is still one more problem that will need to be settled before I go. Last week when I returned to Dish after my year with AT&T (Discover) satellite I called to cancel my subscription and was told I would receive a box to return their equipment in 4 business days....8 days later still no box so I called them again yesterday and that man told me to return the equipment to the AT&T store in Marshall....but now I have questions about if I return the dish part too. More phone calls before I make that run.

I walked over to the graduation party this afternoon and actually enjoyed my visit. The young gal even had a hug for me. Gave me such a warm feeling. I wave at the people and talk to them once in a great while but was greeted with a huge hug. I have watched her grow up and enjoyed her journey because she is 1 year older than my grand daughter.

thank fulls
1. one totally accepting hug from a 17 yr old.
2. I took Buck with me and he was so good
3. talked to my son..his kids have decided they each get to take grandma to do something they like with just them and grandma. Sounds like fun.

I did put in a couple more zippers today and cut a few more bags. It is a easy project to sit in a motel room when you all alone for several hours and need something to do. I know my DIL and daughter will find some use for the bags. I think I"ll also leave one in each room with a little thank you note pinned on it for the housekeeper.

Sounds like a wonderful day! And I LOVE your idea about leaving a bag for the housekeepers - they are often an under-appreciated group!

Sounds like you had a good day. So happy that the graduate enjoyed you coming that she gave you a big hug, and that you enjoyed it too. That was a nice break this afternoon, for you and Buck, he can be a good boy in a crowd. M y dog on the other hand has to greet everyone she sees, like whenever someone comes over, they all get Misha time, she then settles down. Jim says when he takes her for a walk in the morning if she shes a person, she will stop and sit until the person gets to them, then she is happy go lucky Misha wanting some attention, even if the person has a dog they are walking.
What a nice idea your son's kids have to each take Grandma for an outing one day. It is lovely that each of them want to spend so me and grandma time together.
Are you getting the zippers put in each bag as you cut them, so you just need to do the rest of the stitching the morel rooms at night? Yes I'm sure the daughter and daughter-in-law and the granddaughters will have ideas for those purses.
