Back in the Saddle Again

Got on SP today to add in a new recipe that DD wants me to try out and I needed to check the carb content and do some tweaking to make it more diabetic friendly. I use Allulose and Splenda Blend sugar (though I absolutely hate the taste of the Splenda Blend brown sugar, just ick) in my cooking. Have had a lot of luck with it and no one notices when I substitute anyway. Allulose is really hard to find in my town so I only use my tiny canister occasionally. Wish it was easier to come by that's for sure.
Anyway with my changes the recipe comes in way under my carb range so it will be a go in the near future. DD is pretty excited since she wants to try it.
I have been doing Bloom Young exercises most days. Really into the boxing but I hurt my bicep a week ago so I had to stop doing those for a bit to rest my muscles. Switched to just doing legs for a bit so it is all good. Will be back to boxing next week and I will try not to get so rambunctious while I do it.
I have also started on Muniq meal replacement for my diabetes in hopes of bringing my A1c number down in a couple months. Still have a huge problem with Dawn Phenomenon in the morning but I've only been drinking it for 15 days. My glucose numbers will drop by 50-60 points from morning to afternoon which I think is really weird. Dr doesn't really say anything about it but it bugs me. I want/need to get a better handle on this glucose thing but I have to admit that it is hard keeping track of everything, not being able to eat stuff when everyone else can. I absolutely adore cupcakes so it is really hard when I see them in the store or at parties. They are my Achilles heel for sure. I can pass up most stuff but I would love to indulge just once in a while.
My dad has Type 1 and got insulin shots couple times a day. Between his toes mostly, not sure why but that was back in the 70's. I do not want to become Type 1 and have to take insulin. Metformin is bad enough - that stuff just tastes nasty but it does what it is suppose to.
So I walk with DH in the early morning for 1 to 1-1/2 hours, then I do my boxing with Bloom Young and for lunch I have a meal replacement shake/slushee. Hope all this will help my glucose numbers come down.
