First of all,we all know plateaus are normal and we don't like them!
So, how to BREAK A PLATEAU? I have read SP articles about shaking things up either in exercise or food , and since I have been GARDENING about 4-5 hours a day,I couldn't see doing ANY MORE exercise!!
So, I added FIBER ~~at each meal ~and had LOST 4 lbs.over a week's time !! It was not Metamucil, it was actual food. Fruit with the cereal for breakfast, fruit with my lunch, snacks were veggies with some dressing and dinner always had some veggies to go with it. I have trIED to cut the sweets down ~at least for that week~!
I am on the FIBER _FIT Calendar Challenge and try to stay within the 25-35 gram range. I also have my metabolism listed right now between 1920-1940. Those factors worked together. I am in my 60s and rather active [when I am not gardening I lifts weights on my Soloflex or alternate with the treadmill] ,so that helped ,too. And I have been on SP for 11 years ,so, am used to tracking food and fitness daily.
