Exercise Day 116 Walk at Lema Ranch and Exercise Day 117 Recumbent Stationary Bike
Sunday, May 09, 2021
Yesterday my worker and I went for an hour walk on the Lema Ranch trails in the morning as friends. I would not say it was very strenuous, since I haven't done that in over a year but it was very invigorating (I was cold, I wore a light jacket at 8 am) and there were many geese, birds, and several squirrels. It was nice to be near people and not wear a mask. Outdoors and vaccinated, we really weren't required to wear masks. It was not a "crowd" although we passed people or they passed us on the trail.
Today, earlier I did some of the MedBridge exercises but I was pressed for time and only did about half of them and only did one rep. It was already noon and I was really hungry, had to do some other things, and so ended it there. Later I did my bike, so I split things up. And I stepped up my biking efforts.
I warmed up by cycling for 5 minutes with tension @ 3 of 8.
Body Champ Recumbent Stationary Bike
Time: 74.56 minutes
Distance: 9 miles
Burned: 162.4 calories according to the bike or 720 calories according to Spark People ( www.sparkpeople.
I think the bike says less and SP says too much, so if I subtract the bike's calories from the 720, I get 557,6 calories. Is that accurate? I have no idea, but it sounds good.
