Slowly Moving to the Great Outdoors

For 13 months I have been in my house thanks to Covod. Working out felt next to impossible. Going to the gym was out of the questions. How was I going to work out? I didn't own any gym equipment. I had given up.

A month before Christmas I started becoming more active and coming on SparkPeople more. I was feeling great and was starting to lose weight. Then holiday's came and I lost track of everything. I gained weight in the process. Again, I had given up.

After the holiday's I didn't exercise or get around much. I realized my oldest daughter was following suit. Not good. I opened up my eyes are realized she, too, was gaining weight. She's 12 years old. I felt like a terrible mother and decided to do something about it.

I created a program just for my daughter and I. And we have stuck to it! Her and I work out everyday now. I am, slowly, but surely, losing weight and so is my daughter!

So, here is where slowly moving to the great outdoors comes in:

On Thursday, April 22nd, I am getting my first Covid vaccine!! If all goes well, I will be able to start working out outside with my daughter!!

Now if anyone has a time machine that goes into the future, can you please make in next Thursday? emoticon

    Having a workout buddy can be a great help to staying consistent - that was a great idea for both you and your daughter. Congratulations on getting back on track!
