Focused - Keeping on

Sunday, April 11, 2021

I must say that I am trying to stay focused and keep going. It is not always happening and certainly not easy. Some days I just don't care emoticon

I am trying to pull myself out of the funk that happens more days than I care to admit. I think it's just from being cooped up but there is light at the end of the tunnel as hubby and I get out second shot in the next week and many of our friends are vaccinated.

What I did today to help de-funk:
Planned dinners for the week
Started a new puzzle
Had a good workout
Did some cooking. I made 5 ingredient bagels.
Hubby didn't like his plain one but I liked the ones with the seasoning. I would definitely makes these again.

Oh one thing - I signed up for Health Coaching through Fitbit. It was a joke. I think the health coach was a computer bot. She didn't answer any of my questions and sent me canned message to read articles on the fitbit site. Beware - stay clear.

Planning on having a good week emoticon

    Thanks for the Fitbit advisory.

Bagels look good. I have never cooked a yeast recipe. Here's a link to Everything Bagel Seasoning

Hey last! I hear you about these sulky feelings & the cloudy weather makes it feel even yuckier. You have 2 seconds to turn that feeling around so try & distract yourself quickly. All the best!

Maybe I mentioned this to you earlier, but YOU inspired me by posting a picture of your monthly color-in calendar. It's helped me get back to my daily program of stretching/strengthening. You can do it.

Love that we seem to often be on the same page. Not happy that it is challenging for either of us to stay on the right path. Your blogs help. Thank you. Love the 5 ingredient bagel idea. Sound like something I would love. Was it hard? LOL asks the lazy one.

So good of you to try the coach thing. So sorry to hear it was a bust. Thanks for letting us know.

Hugs to you my friend. Here's to a new week. 4/13 is my birthday and i am not at the weight I should be at. UG.

I have not signed up for the coaching through Fitbit. I am glad that I didn't. I have had both Covid shots. It feels good to have this behind me.

Sorry to hear about the Fitbit coaching. I had a similar experience when I tried Noom a year ago. Glad we have Spark! Take it one day at a time!

sorry about the fitbit experience. very disappointing when you sign up for something and it is a let down. congrats on the meal planning. I find if I flavor the bagels I prefer them to plain as well.

The bagels sure look good. I think we are all sick of Covid. I remember listening to politicians on T.V. last year and thought from what they said that I could tough out a few months. Pffftttttt!!! And then I would see Anthony Fauci and he would look grim and mention things like - well, this won't be over for a long time and 2021 may be kind of shot too. And I would think - OMG!! When will this end??? And I'm still wondering. As a nurse I don't see the end in sight honestly. I know President Biden is hitting the vaccines hard but what about all of the people who won't take them? It blows herd immunity out of the water if they can't get at least 70%........ Yes, depression. It's whats for dinner.
