pounds and inches gone

my first spark weigh-in today. I've lost 3lbs. It's not the first week of my calorie counting, but is the first week of proper exercise, so this is amazing. Also lost 1" from my waist and 1/2" from my backside since last week. I think the exercise has been a big factor in those losses - I certainly hope so, from the way my legs are aching today after yesterday's lunges with weights and the davina mccall workout with it's "c'mon - lets burn some fat now". No "real" exercise planned today, but I'll be counting every non-stop 30 minutes of enthusiastic housework as my cardio. Might even go for a slow walk to see if i can walk off some of the achiness.
From now on, I'll still be weighing once a week, at least for a few months, but i'll only measure on the first saturday of the month, so (hopefully) there will always be inches lost when i measure (mustn't expect to see any gone next week though). 1-2 inches from my waist and backside each month would be great.
