Can I hear a WOOHOO?!?! End of March is on Wednesday, but I did measurements and photos today.
MARCH - Down 5.6 lbs (to be updated on Wednesday, but oh so close to my mid-range goal for the month!).
JAN-MAR - Down 20.1 lbs (to be updated on Wednesday, but is above my mid-range goal!)
PLUS - I hit BMI goal of 35
Quarterly measurement losses:
Thorax: -2.5 inches
Waist: -3.5 inches
Hips: -4 inch
Neck: -0.75 inches
Thigh: -2 inches
Calf: -0.25 inches
Upper arm; -1 inch
Front and back photos: (If I cross my eyes, I think I can see a slight difference compared to the photos from February. Oh and I decided I ought to wear the same outfit for each set of photos.)
So on Wednesday I'll update my SparkPage final weight loss tabulation for March, and change over my goals for April and April-June.
Again getting the daily exercise in has been a challenge. I did manage to get up early once this week and workout before work - which was great, but then the next day opted to study in the morning with intention to hike after work - which got derailed due to inclement weather. The rest of the week got blown off and was having difficulty getting up early after staying up too late studying. Oopsie. The studying has definitely taken priority over most everything else this week.
In other news:
1. My kitty Marley was to the vet and it seems it could be something serious. I'm waiting for biopsy results to come back, if so, the vet said it's not a good scenario. In the meantime he's now on an antibiotic, which seems to be helping. So fingers crossed. The other kitty had a clean bill of health this week.
2. I scheduled my real estate course exam for this upcoming week, so I've been studying like a maniac. I'm not feeling as ready for it as I would like (and although I could reschedule it), I'm going to do it, because I feel like I could postpone it indefinitely. For the class exam you can take it up to three times before they require you to take a separate review class. (The state exam is a different story - but that's down the road still.) So today is more studying.
Goals this week:
Exercise for at least 30 mins, at least 3 times this week.
Take my exam.
Stick to meal plan.
Be pleasant and grateful at work.
Get Marley's biopsy result and probably bring him back this week for follow-up to the vet.
I have a staycation coming up in a couple weeks, so should really start planning tasks to accomplish that week beyond the usual.
I joined the Spring 5% Challenge, which starts on April 3rd (I think), so looking forward to trying my first challenge!
Ok, that's the update. I'm feeling FABULOUS today having met my SMART goals with three days left of the month still!
