Addendum to 40 Bags in 40 Days:

Yesterday while cleaning out the book shelves in the front bedroom, I found 4 books on how to organize your home/life, which I had purchased over the years and never looked at.
I skimmed through all 4, put 3 aside to offer to Siobhan and/or donate to the Friends of the Library book sale, and kept one, which I recommend to anyone looking for this sort of thing.
It's called "Cut the Clutter and Store the Stuff", edited by Lori Baird and published by Rodale Books (the Prevention Magazine people).
I was happy to see that I am already doing some of the things they recommend, and found lots of new tips.
I also covered the box my sewing machine came in with MacTac for Aria's Lego, Duplo and other building toys. While I was at it, I found some toys that she has outgrown that I will donate to the hospital thrift shop.
Yesterday I finished the last of the trip scrapbooks, and today I'm starting on a new apron for Aria, using the end of a runner which Siobhan's mother embroidered years ago... a lady in a long skirt and bonnet, lots of flowers, and lots of pinks and yellows, two of Aria's favourite colours. It also has a pink ruffled edge, which I will incorporate into the apron which will be mainly of a print material I've had for a long time, and wanted to use up. Since Siobhan's mother died when Sio was only 12, I want Aria to have something from her. I know she would have loved Aria just like I do.
