just sayin’ … I got this

Thursday, March 25, 2021

Well to show how incredibly tired and over loaded I am … DS2’s comment … Well, mom, Dad slept last night (Tues) but not any of the nights since Sunday. Let’s get in another night of sleep.

Huh … Sunday, Monday, Tuesday … isn’t that the days of the week??? So, Hubby slept Sunday night, skipped Monday night but slept again Tuesday night. But let’s get in another night. This high math is over my head.

Last night … which I think was Wednesday … Hubby slept 9 hours … so that’s two nights in a row. Ahhh. He’s fragile, not himself just yet … but back on earth. Progress.

DS2 has a family … a gorgeous wife and 3 adorable kids. And a dog name Ty. They live just about an hour away. He hasn’t been home for almost two weeks helping me with Hubby. He ran interference, held Hubby’s hand, held mine, administered meds when Hubby wouldn’t take them from me, bullied Hubby into submission to eat and drink. During the 4 1/2 psychotic days … he kept his Dad from leaving the house and kept me from running away from home.

God love this kid.

If today goes as well as yesterday … DS2 will go home tonight to his family. Spend the weekend at home and come back Monday or Tuesday to check on us. Wednesday is check-in with Doc.

As long as Hubby is compliant … I got this.

Fingers and toes crossed … the hard part is over.

Change your mind … and the rest WILL follow.

So wonderful that your son has been able to be present for you and for his father.

Now, I imagine the two of you did a thing or two for him when he was growing up . . . and it's wonderful FOR your son to be given the opportunity now to help.

You raised an amazing son. Not all superheroes wear tights and a cape, but you deserve both.

    Hope things continue to improve

Can't say enough good about that son of yours! And kudos to you for being able to stick it out until DH got his feet back "on earth". Here's hoping for continued improvement, and the meds being "right" at least for now.

I really really really hope that this is the beginning of the end of his episode and your amazing dear son can go home to his family leaving his dad in your capable hands.
