So, I finally weighed myself, and I was happily surprised! I'm currently 141.5 lb, which is about 14 pounds down from where I was in November! My total weight loss goal has been about 30 pounds, so I'm just about halfway there, and I'm FINALLY in the healthy BMI range. To top it all off, I've had comments from a couple of family members that I look slimmer, which is always nice since I can't really see the weight loss on myself (which I know is normal).
This journey has been slower than I'd hoped, but I'm still amazed at the progress I've made. It's definitely still a daily battle, especially with not overeating and getting off the couch. Looking back, I can see that forming simple, good habits has been crucial in making progress. Stopping eating in the evenings, swapping for lower calorie options, eating more vegetables, and especially walking 45 minutes a day has helped me produce the results.
Looking forward, I'm going to reach the 130s and a waist measurement of 28" by the end of March.
