Creative Days Ahead

The most important day is...today...every day. My 1st day was the most important...without it I would not make it...can't finish if you don't start. Then, the 2nd day was the most important...if I stop now, it's over, and regression will begin. Now, today is the most important...if I don't have a successful day today, it will likely be days/weeks/months before I get back on track again.



I have been taking note of my activities during the day. I work a lot. I do not craft or spend enough creative time. I watch a lot of TV in the evening. When I'm working, I do not have eating urges unless I am between tasks and near food. When I am crafting or being creative, I have ZERO eating urges...I'm really engaged and food is a non-existent thought. When I am just watching TV, I do get eating urges. So, now when I watch TV, I do double-time...I have the TV on but I work on something creative at the same time.



Staying within the 200/500/500 calorie ranges has been pretty easy so far. Last night, with my evening meal, I was even able to add some sweets to my meal to fill up my 500 calorie range. It's interesting that I can have sweets with a meal that is recorded and not feel a need for more or go into binge mode. I think it's because it is not a part of emotional eating...it's just a part of my meal which is not an emotional eating experience.

    Being creative is awesome. I have got into keeping planners. There is so many ways to make them very decorative and pretty. emoticon

    Excellent! Yes, probably the mindset is shifted since you had a sweet that was part of the meal! Makes a psychological difference.

    My sister knits or crochet in the evenings. I can't do either. It sounds like that would be something that may help. Do you do either? Again, likie you, I don't do crafts. I would rather read or play games on the computer.

    Good Morning! You are doing great and really tuning into your mission for good health! I also experience not thinking about food when I am being creative--such as writing. When the mind is engaged there is less chance for it to wander. Keep on--sparking and blogging!
