A new short term goal...

My best friend from high school is going to drive down from Indiana in April, bringing another one of our HS friends. I think this is an opportunity to remember why its so good to be healthy, fit, and flexible (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually). I want to be able to experience that upcoming weekend to its fullest.
Also...Spring is coming! Spring is coming! The daffodils are pushing up out of the ground reaching for the sun. I am so excited. Two weeks ago, middle TN was basically shut down due to cold, ice and snow. What a mess it was. But now...sun! and its warmth.
I want to be active outside. I want to be active with my spouse and my parents and my other relatives that I am so lucky to have near by.
So this week I will look up the date of the upcoming 5% Challenge and start sketching some fitness goals on the calendar. maybe my Zoom yoga group will join me on a team? or compete on another team? They allow want to support me -- and each other.
I am fitting in a little chair yoga this AM before my remote ZOOM class. I have a YouTube Video series (Easy German) that I enjoy. I am dreaming as I listen that maybe my spouse and I could plan another trip to Germany. I did hear on BBC today that Germany only has about 5% of its population vaccinated and their roll-out is slow.
I continue to practice my lever harp and want to be certified therapeutic harper (a lot less training than a music therapist) but still two years of training. maybe I could start thinking about a European trip that would include a harp conference and a German holiday? That may be r-e-a-l-l-y wishful thinking. I could have a closer back up "dream" ...the SW? Phoenix for a harp conference.
ok. back to YouTube, chair yoga and getting ready for class.
