Spoiler alert: NOT good news.
So, here's the deal. Two Saturdays ago, I finally hit my pre-xmas low again (175). I was sooo happy...finally, I could start moving forward again! But then last Saturday, holy cow - I was up to 179 point something! Crazy!!!! So I worked hard this week, determined to take some of that off. I snuck in an early weigh-in a couple days ago and woo hoo, I was all the way down to 175! So I felt pretty confident getting on the scale this morning. Only to see - 178.2.
Seriously, what the heck????? How am I having these giant weight swings all of a sudden?
Naturally, that made me want to sit and sulk. But of course, I knew that was the last thing I really needed to do. So I set out for a walk. I headed to the trail I recently discovered and decided to go further - so nice to go somewhere "new" for a change! So I ended up doing almost 3 miles down the trail...uh oh, now I have to walk all the way back, LOL! It was fine, but I'm definitely feeling it a bit - normally I do 4-4.5 miles so this was a bit of a stretch. But I was in a much better mindset when I finished.
Otherwise it's been a fairly quiet day. We got the weekly dinner menu planned, and got the grocery shopping done, plus we popped into the pet store to get some treats for Bam-Bam and to restock food for the guinea pigs. After we got everything put away I crashed out with a book for quite a while, and now I'm on the computer organizing some photos.
Almost 5 so sadly the weekend is almost halfway over, but thankfully we have nothing planned tomorrow. Not like we ever really have anything planned these days...some day we'll travel and have a social life and DO stuff again!
