Sparkling Saturday

Ah the wisdom found in the blogs of my Spark Friends. I do not know where I would be without you all.
During hubby's scans I stopped at the Chinese restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to see many cars in the parking lot. In the past many months his dining room had been empty, but this day it was filled to the max allowed. Wow! A closer look revealed the patrons were mostly age 75 and above. LOL They were there because the had received both doses of the vaccine.
Yes, freedom had arrived for them.
My freedom is coming soon, I need to schedule a hair appointment. My pony tail will be gone. Easter is my time to get out into the world again, a time for renewal.
JSTETSER wrote a touching blog about habits, morning routines. Being a caretake I stop what I am doing to tend to the needs of others. But now I need to tend to me. I can say "Wait until I finish..."

This is so important now for me to firmly establish routines that will comfort me. Hubby looked up about the procedure that withdrew the fluid around his heart late last July. What he read was patients usually only live for 4 1/2 months after the procedure. Yikes!!!! He is well past that.
I had noticed Hubby is more tired, taking more naps. His hair is bypassing grey and going to straight to patches of white. I cannot help but think we are on borrowed time.
❤️ Grateful -
Of the time we have.
For my Spark Friends sharing.
For the messages from the universe.
