'Creative isn't the way I think, it's the way I like to live.' ~Paul Sandip
Ever since I can remember, I liked being creative! I liked art in grade school. I liked playing with play doh. I used my small imagination every day. I liked playing with Legos, blocks, Lincoln logs, etc. I like music. I liked dancing to the music. I liked reading. I liked watching TV. Most of what I enjoyed doing was behind closed doors. When I got older I wanted to learn many things but the teacher wouldn't teach me. In college I loved being active and doing any activity the college set up. This time I was free to be me and not hid behind closed doors. La Crosse was the same way. I taught myself to cross stitch and make gifts. I liked music. I liked going on walks with friend. I liked reading. I liked playing with kids. The creative arts had brought me great all my life.
My 7th positive affirmation is I make a positive difference in the world. I believe I do that! Friends have told me so.
Today is Banana Bread day. I don't remember having fruit bread growing up. . When my son was in cross county, the female coach made the team different fruit breads. She reminded me of the mother I wanted to be. Making healthy and fun snacks for my kid. Today I am having banana bread!
Here's a recipe I saw last night on FB I thought was fun. I may or may not try it:
Here's another fun idea I found. Maybe next year I will try this one:
