What Am I Doing Right

We are just over a month in to BLC 45 and this week I am reflecting on what I am doing right this round. To be honest some days it feels like nothing but then I need to remind myself weight loss is a marathon not a sprint!
At the beginning of this round I quit smoking. New Year's resolution, they usually don't stick but this is something that I really need to do! And I knew that trying to lose weight in addition to quitting smoking would be tough. So I am focusing on what is most important (the quitting) and working on habits that help with both:
Trying to go for healthy smokes when I am hungry
Exercise which is great for cigarette craves and losing weight!
Taking time to be still. Sometimes the best thing for a crave is to just weight. Being still helps keep me in my right mindset for the challenge as well.
Tracking all of my food
I think the biggest thing that I am doing is being a little easy on myself. There will be weeks that I might gain. The goal is to keep the scale moving in the right direction long term!
