2nd February 2021

Tuesday, February 02, 2021

Sorry I haven't posted lately but I've been 'Up and down on the scales' and with my mood (still worried about the Virus somedays but try to rationalise it).

I found it really hard to get back on plan after Christmas, there were too many treats around which needed cleaning up!!! (ha ha any excuse!)

Every day (almost) I have been for a walk around my neighbourhood mostly with my daughter which I have thoroughly enjoyed. And many days, most week days in January and some in February I have been doing at least 30 mins Hasfit training which is on the Internet with my 1kg and 2kg weights, I love doing this and guess it will help keep my muscles strong. My girl asked me before Christmas if it was as good as chocolate for the spirit and course I said NO! (wish it was)

We had a little snow today but its melted now, really pleased we don't have it very often. I slipped though today and got a wet behind (so cold and wet) so was a little miserable for a while and felt silly but carried on walking and my wet (and cold) gloves felt worse than my wet trousers! I picked myself up and kept on going! I know that is what I have to do with my healthy lifestyle too, if I make a mistake with my food choice then I have to pick myself up and continue pushing,

Sorry I missed this blog... probably because February 2nd was our wedding anniversary.

How nice that you've been walking with your daughter! I love the analogy between falling down and getting up in the snow and with the healthy lifestyle!
Indeed temptations are all around... but if we want to be heatlhy we need to be determined and focused.

We have a lot of snow. NO outdoors for me for a while. Try to stay focused on positives. You have got this. emoticon

This challenging year has played havoc with everybody's moods.
Trying to stay positive is important but is itself exhausting.

Be careful out there. As Judge Judy says - "how to live to be 100? Don't fall!"
    Glad you were not hurt.

Keep up those little steps in the right direction.

Glad you weren't hurt when you slipped over!
It's a hard time for most of us all through all this but somehow we have to stay strong and push on particularly where food is concerned. Keep pushing Donna emoticon emoticon

The virus is one of the best reasons to eat high quality food as much as possible. You are worth the sacrifice! It often feels like such a big sacrifice when that food urge is there, but it feels so good later to have thwarted the habit of giving in. emoticon

I have Covid. While it isn't great, I am luckier than some. I hope that you avoid it. Keep doing what you are doing. By the way, please don't be stressed. I hope that you and your family stay healthy.

Keep pushing, you’ll get through the slump and out the other side, smiling!

Our snow hasn't melted, but the road crews have cleared it off the streets.

Glad you're enjoying the walks with your daughter. Cold pushed our walk into the mall yesterday.
