2021 ~ How's It Going???

I made a 'silent' promise to myself that I would try to do SOMETHING each and EVERY DAY in January, 2021. I used to have my FitBit Steps Goal set to 5K steps per day (I work in an office - in front of a computer ~ getting 10K steps in most days is almost impossible with all of the sitting that I do). I decided to change my step goal to AT LEAST 6K steps per day with an additional goal of doing some kind of purposeful exercise per day.
How did I do in January? Not bad, I think. I managed to do some kind of exercise EVERY DAY in January, 2021. I also managed to meet/exceed my step goal every day of January, 2021 except for 1 day ~ my step goal was 5,994. I think that day I was very tired and decided to 'sit down for a minute and the next thing I knew I woke up ~ after midnight, so I was short 6 steps that day.
What was my motivation? First and foremost, it was me - I made a deal with myself and stuck to it. I'm also part of 2 EXCELLENT Challenges that are a perfect compliment and helped me keep track.
One Challenge is called the 2021 Winter 5% Challenge. This challenge runs from 1/9/21 through March 5, 2021.
