What’s working for me “right now”

The following is basically a journal entry meant for me in the future but feel free to read!


Well, my latest appointment with Dr. M went well. I brought up my concern that I might be bipolar but the wise doctor said that what I have is major reoccurring depression. Maybe I was were hoping i were bipolar to explain some rhyme or reason? My depression cycles off and on over each year but every few years I have a more severe depressive experience.


I explained to Dr. M. that I feel so good, I feel almost afraid to even say so. I was mistakenly calling these periods my “highs”. According to the good doctor, I’m feeling “normal”. He asked what I’m doing now that I was unable to do a few months ago.

I’m drinking 6+ glasses of water a day. I have noticed my facial skin feels less tight.

I’m eating a peanut butter on whole wheat sandwich for breakfast along with a cup of coffee. I’m trying to eat an orange and an apple before lunch hour.

My focus each day is to consume a minimum of 5 freggies with the majority being vegetables.

I’m trying to walk a minimum of three times a week

I’m trying to do some ST as well.

Meal planning our evening meals really helps as it helps stay organized

I try to read everyday and work on harder Sudokus

I spend as much time with Ginger as possible

I am trying to limit the time I spend with mom and I am fully supported in that decision.

I know organization helps me a lot and have assigned days to do laundry, etc.

John is a huge support!


So, I hope that this list somehow helps me during my next episode
