SMALL LOCAL BUSINESSES

My friends and I had lunch at a local restaurant. I am on the hunt for local places that have been able to open after all the closures in our area. The larger chains were able to stay open with takeout and drive thru. They were not hurt by the closures. In fact they seemed to be doing really well. I found one of the local small places for today. We went there. The service was great, friendly. The menu was great for breakfast and lunch with some local specials. These are the places that need our support. They are struggling and a number have been forced to close. I have two more picked out for the next couple of weeks. I am taking Hubby back to this one as he will love it. My friends have agreed that we really need to support these and I am to make the selections for the next couple of weeks. We had the two small boys with us today and the man in the kitchen saw them. They ordered a pancake each. They were delivered by the cook and they were in the shape of Mickey Mouse with large ears. They were a hit. When we were leaving the 2 year old ran to the kitchen door and told the cook, he ate his Mickey and will come back for another one.
