Progress Peaks and Valleys

Weight loss is a lifetime challenge. In September I was on the mountain top with everything going so well and the weight dropping quickly. Then I injured my knee and things reversed with weight gain. Now that I can move more, the weight is coming off but slowly this time.

Sunday started off so well: blueberry/spinach smoothie, Atlantic cod w/stir fried zucchini, squash and carrots. Later the hungries hit and it was so out of character that nothing healthy was filling. I turned to a bagel. Then later I ate an individual bag of popcorn. Neither item on my preferred foods.

Today is Monday. Reflecting on what went wrong yesterday. Well, I probably should have added a healthy carb like a sweet potato or brown rice to my fish and that may have helped stave off the insatiable hungry state.
