Anyone remember these

Or at least this is the fancy version of the spool with finishing nails to make cords.


Dolores' latest dress has a neck cord that is 3-stitch knitted I-cord. I detest knitting I-cord. I do not mind doing it as an edging but just a cord is ..... So Rapunzel arrived a few days ago and I did a little bit yesterday. Since it is 3-stitch I just skipped one of the posts at the top.


In 5-7 minutes I had almost 12 inches done.


That is the cap of a fountain pen that I am using as a weight.

I could have made one of my own but this one is long enough that I can hold it and my yarn in my left hand (just like I knit) and lift the stitch and turn the spool with my right. It fits and goes fast!
