busy little Saturday

Tuesday my library is for the first time this year, going to let the public use the space they are paying for. There are restrictions (they can't browse the shelves--they have to wear a mask at all times--any library item they touch but don't check out we have to quarantine for three days etc. etc.) but after two months of only offering hold pick up service we will finally let them use computers and make photocopies. It is all just in time for folks to grab tax forms (oh the meetings and discussions about how to "safely" let folks take a tax form) I'm glad. There really has not been much for me to do and I miss helping folks.
Since Monday is a holiday, today it is a lot of going around and making sure things are blocked that need to be blocked, and things are open that need to be opened. There are displays to think about and signs to put up to explain things.
To add to the fun the Packers are playing today and my boss, being a fan, is taking off early for the game and leaving me in charge for two hours. I don't expect much to happen here. It has been a very slow day so far. I just hope when I finally get to leave the Pack will be ahead.
