I'm feeling good. 3rd day back in goal weight range.

I ran this morning, 2.5 miles in 30 minutes -- not fast, just comfy. Toe is almost 100% healed.

I really am a Florida gal. It was 59 degrees and I wore a long sleeve tech shirt and long pants and I never did get warm. My shoulders were cold the whole time even though my forehead was sweating. Oh, well. I did it!

I also practiced piano (brain workout) some this morning. Although it would be more appropriate for Halloween this week's assignments are The Addams Family theme song (I clap instead of snap fingers), Haunted House, F# minor scales, and a Hanon exercise that has my thumbs going under my pinkie fingers. I'm glad I'm doing it even if my progress is slow.

Tuesday and Wednesday I had 5 excursions each day transporting granddaughters to their activities, and they stayed with us several hours yesterday which I enjoyed. Today my son in law is off work, so I can focus on me all day!

    You'll laugh... your description of the Hannon exercise had me placing my fingers on the edge of the table and trying to pretend it was a piano keyboard. Yep! THIS is my brain exercise... reading blogs and giving things a try.

    We got up to 52*F yesterday in the sunny afternoon... then this morning it was 40*F with high wind and spitting rain as I drove to pick up the grocery order. My surprise "extra" today was a package of burger buns I did not order, but otherwise... got what I asked for. That's always good.

    Since it's a bit damp and windy, I went "path of the confused squirrel" to use BROOKLYN_BORN's phrase indoors for my 30 minutes. And in a couple of hours I'll be heading out for the next two medicalizing things: my every three years bone scan, and the six month mammo (which is actually my regular annual, the one last summer was a six month follow-up). As my non-Spark sister says, "it's the price we pay for sticking around the planet longer".

    I'm thinking it's unheard of having 50 degrees January and at 50 degrees, I wore a light jacket when I was walking. I was comfortable. Today, its a more normal 25. Go figure. Have a good day!

    You are getting it done!
    I am very busy with four online fitness classes, a daily qigong practice (sometimes twice a day) So many webinars and such going on that I have to make myself a large daily planner so I don't forget when things are and especially the time zone differences. My sleep deprived brain really makes it hard for me to remember when something is on and I have missed some events. If its in my face in bigger print then what I can put on my calendars I should not miss it. During a listen only webinar, I do a low impact workout in front of it, so piling up the step and active minute count. 300 minutes yesterday, getting 31000 steps in, something I don't often do, but get close. My back is in such bad shape its less pain for me to move then sit or lie down.
