Happy Sunday!

Sunday, January 10, 2021

Well my kids got up finally at 11:00 am. I did get up late this morning after 7 am. Can you believe they are 15 and 12 and they don't know how to make a bagel and make me do it for them? Spoiled a tad. Yesterday, Megan actually said she had no hands.

Yesterday was a good day for me too. I got the MITS all set up for the Shooting Stars which takes me some time. I ran some errands with Michelle and had a good time with her. We went to the laundromat, my mom's house to give her some Hanukkah money that my dad gives us each year (he gives some to my mom, my brother, and my girls; my mom keeps the money for the girls in a safe and in an envelope for each kid), and the grocery store. Michelle got two ice cream snacks and didn't get any for Megan so we had to go to another grocery store yesterday afternoon for an ice cream run! Kids!

I only have 20 pages out of 800 to read in the book Finding Your Own North Star by Martha Beck. It is a good book but I am glad to almost be done it. I have been getting books with a digital library card from the New York Public Library and reading it on Libby on my iphone. I next have to finish a book by Edgar Cayce and then am waiting on a book on hold. I am anxious about the one on hold because I really want to read it. Then I might read a few books off my kindle because there is one on there that I want to read very badly too.

I am excited about the 5% challenge and think I may actually lose some weight this time around. Yesterday, I counted 30 minutes of exercise going to the grocery stores, CVS, doing the laundry and some errands around my apartment like taking the recycling and trash out and checking my mail as well as trips to the car and back.

Almost caught up on General Hospital. I want to watch more of the show on Netflix called Surviving Death. It's good but might be weird to you. I am almost done Rizzoli and Isles but think I am in denial because I don't want it to end but I should really finish it. I love that show and it's going to be hard when it is done. I still have the books though to read by Tess Gerritsen. I only read The Surgeon so far but I'm waiting to read those until I finish the TV show.

Take care and have a great day!

Wow, you are a very busy woman. All my children are grown and I spend time with mostly my daughters children. Her oldest, Maddy is coming over this afternoon and I have plans to make some cookies with her. Then send most of them back with her.

Again thank you for your encouragement! Ravyna
