another rough day at work

Thursday, January 07, 2021

It has been so hard going back to work after vacation. Everyone needs something. It is also near the end of the year for our company so lot's of extra stuff needed.

Got to say though... I really do love my job so there is that.

No matter how stressful a job is, I hope that everyone is doing something they love or at least enjoy.

I had a great workout this morning.
I stayed on track with my eating habits.

I didn't get the steps I wanted but I did achieve my mini goal of over 10k.

So happy you love your job!

I do not but right now, it's a means to a different end that I am envisioning for myself so I will love it for that quality!

Its fun to have a job you enjoy. I am "only" a cashier who sometimes bags, yet I have a GRAND TIME with my customers!! Today I was there early AM and so I got to wait on many elderly. To make sure they were as spoiled as could be. That makes me smile so much.

So glad you too enjoy your job. I tell others who are not happy, find something you LOVE. I am such a people person this fits well. Why a cashier at this time in life (in my 60's)? COVID hit (normally work as a teacher aid/foster grandmother in a 2nd grade classroom) and the gym closed. I was no longer on my feet as much, and wanted to be. I was/am though saving $$$ not paying the gym. PERFECT why not get a job that's quite physical AND have THEM PAY ME For working out? WIN/WIN!!
