New year, new dreams
Sunday, January 03, 2021
Typically the new year means making new resolutions, of which most of us fail by the 2nd or 3rd week of January. I look at this as a time to consider what goals do I really want to make, and look at what has worked for me this past year, what didn't (keeping a journal helps). So I am looking at goals that I will attempt through out the next 12 months. So I ask myself, what are my intensions? What do I want to accomplish? Do I have the time and energy to see them through into fruition. Whatever I decide upon I will pursue systemically; Any journey begins with a plan or a map so I will consider the steps I need to take to move forward purposefully. If I hit a roadblock I will regroup and refocus then move around it or change course if necessary.
I believe my faith helps me plan and reach my goals, I will do my very best and the stronger my resolve the higher my success rate. I can do this, I will do this with the guidance and help from my faith, my family and my friends.
I am very grateful for Sparks, my spark friends and team mates. I have come a long way, in 2005 weighed 216 lbs., and have been up and down the scale, today I am 175 The loss has been slow but it is staying off, I learned a lot, how to eat better, exercise smarter, I have been able to change my lifestyle to a healthier one. I am very grateful and blessed.
Let's rock this new year,
