2020, as we all know, has had it's challenges, but it is not the worst year I can recall in my life. There have been several that take the top spots.
Looking back on the lives my parents lived, it would not have been the worst year for them either.
What horrible things were encountered, especially with my mother, living in war torn Germany during WWII, yet my family remained strong upbeat, hopeful and never gave up on making things better for us.
So I will count the many blessings of 2020 and appreciate the lessons learned.
I will try to live up to the standards my parents set and look forward to this next year with a hopeful heart and a plan in place, knowing that my loved ones watch and guide from above with the light of God's love.
Looking back on 2020, I have been blessed with good health, a back that has gotten considerably better. I have kept working when many have not been able to and even with some very close calls, I have not lost any loved ones.
Coffee across the miles every week with a spark friend and other friends and family staying in touch to warm the heart
I even took a week long vacation! Something I have not done since 1979!
There were home repairs made and I welcomed a new kitten into my home.
These are just a few of the beautiful things that 2020 brought me.
I can't wait to see what 2021 will bring.
Wishing you all a beautiful ending to this year and the very best of beginnings for the next.
Goals and resolutions you ask? Well, maybe writing more blogs and that will be mentioned then.
Thank you to my team mates that motivated me to get back to blog writing.
I would have posted my usual photos, but spark is not uploading them at the moment.
