Short term goals to reach long term goal.

My son is getting married next September. My long term goal is to have lost 50 pounds by then. I've already lost 20 so only 30 more to go.
My mini, short term goals to help me get there:
1. Eat at least 1 fruit per day. I tend to skip fruit.
2. Lose 4 pounds a month. (I know that would be 45 pounds, and that would be a bonus. But 30 pounds or 4 pounds a month isn't as scary as saying I need to lose 45 pounds in 9 months. I'm more apt to succeed if I lower the numbers.)
3. I will do some form of exercise at least 5 days a week.
There! Now it's in writing and in print. Not just in my head where I keep "forgetting" what my goals are. I can do this!!!
