My nightly insomnia episodes are frustrating becuz my new Dr putme in a higher dose of thyroid medication & I'm sure it's causing me to wake up unable to go back to sleep. Therefore I get up, take a sleep aid (antihistamine) & melatonin, & go downstairs to read. I also heat up a foot pack & a drink. Hot coconut milk w/ dark chocolate & a shot of whiskey. Lots of calories but it gets me back to sleep, eventually. I get new blood work done in two weeks if I can last that long. I am really missing those couple hours of sleep & glad that my BF is do understanding. He's had sleep issues too & it sucks that his have gotten better but now mine are worse & preventable. I just need to hang in there; it will pass. Meantime, those extra calories are slowing down my progress. Sure are tasty tho!

    Oh goodness-I feel your pain! I awoke at 2:10 and much as i tried could not get back to sleep!! .. Now had an hour deep sleep nap---and hope that doesn't do me in tonight! It is frustrating. Hope things get straightened out for you and soon!
