No Where to Go

This is the saddest thing. Even tho we can go we can't go anywhere. About the time we have 2 feet of snow on the roads the virus will be contained and we'll be told we can go out again...and we'll still be stuck. I'm pretty negative today. Don't want to be here and to scared to leave.

I did get some things done today. There are no dirty dishes in my kitchen and I did eat a good dinner. I also made several more cards but I only like one of them....so will try some more as soon as I can. I don't like the bells at all and the ornaments need something more but I'm not sure what. But again I love the tree.

In the morning I'll go get the little piece of fabric to finish Mateo's stocking and then get them lined and ready to mail early next week. Then I'll make more cards but I think I'm only going to mail the ones I like and not the ones I don't like.

    I know what you mean about needing 6 months to go to all the places we'll want to visit once the pandemic is under control! I'm working on being as healthy as I can NOW, so I'll still fit into my "regular" clothes once I start going out again!

    The tree card is darling. As for the Christmas balls have you thought of putting some of that thin T think it's about a 1/4 inch on small rolls in the material store, probably Walmart. Just a small bow made of the ribbon and place it just a bit from where the ball starts, try it on the bells too, use contrasting colors---bet it will make them all pop a bit, just a suggestion from me.
    I can understand getting negative when you live alone, and have to stay in more that going out. Yup, if the day is lovely on Saturday get out for a walk, bet Buck would enjoy a walk with you.
    You certainly have a lot of invitations to go somewhere that you know, your right you would need some significant time to visit all one the list. Now with the Virus so bad, it is difficult making a decision to go anywhere away form home., and you pets would be missing you way to much for that long a stay.
    We put up the bigger Christmas tree out in our screened in room. Jim gets it up and I decorate it It takes time to unwrap all the decorations and put them up, and I load that tree up with decorations. Then he put up lights around the inside of the screened room--then i string blow all of them out. So off he goes to by new lights, now he needs to go back and get 1 more string of lights. Soon we will also put up the small inside tree and ornaments and all the hanging Christmas things, and other things that sit on tables and where ever I choose to put then this year.

    It does get frustrating. You do have got your quilting and challenges with the Christmas cards to help. I do like them all. You do a wonderful job with that machine and your ideas!!
    I hope to get out for a walk tomorrow as it's suppose to be a nice day. Haven't been shopping for a week so don't get my walks in. We have hills on 3 sides of us as we are at the bottom of a hill. 1 way to go without climbing!

    I like the little Christmas tree pattern. I can see that being made in several different colors. I have a hard time staying in our house so I try to go for walks around my neighborhood everyday. The walks aren't fast because I have a bad knee and my back doesn't always cooperate, but moving helps keep my depression from getting out of control.
