Thanksgiving

Friday, November 27, 2020

It was really nice - just spent with the girls and significant others. I got to watch the Macy's parade with Sherry and Helena. Growing up in Detroit, I always watched the Hudson's parade (eventually called the Michigan parade) and I always favored that. Less singers and bands, more floats. There's a. Chilly Willie penguin float that got away one year and ended up in the Detroit River - kinda ironic. I got a kick out of Boss Baby yesterday. He started coming down a bit and Al Roker mentioned that he was taking a quick nap. And butter man did make an appearance. Of course, we watched the Detroit Lions play - and of course they lost. We ended the day sitting by the fire in the chimenea outside, looking at the stars. It was definitely a comfortable and needed day.

We went to take pictures to send the family. My girls got the giggles really bad and I love when they do that.
