Patience is a virtue, possess it if you can-

Did yu ever know that there was a job that had to be done, but--well, everyday goes by, and that job is put off till to-morrow---
The freezer , at the bottom of our kitchen frig, is full of "this and that"---wee tiny packages, wrapped up, waiting to be used at another meal---
The trouble is, we never use that food--
We forget it is there---and it piles up--so much so, that the 2 drawers are full of "this and that"--

Anyway, yesterday, after coming home with groceries, I noticed the drawer to the freezer was left open---"Oh no" I thought, knowing there was ice cream in there--
Himself, after thawing out some liver for the Germans, as in dogs, had tossed the package of liver back into the freezer---not noticing that the drawer was not shut-
Everything had thawed--
3 bags of tiny wrapped packages of sausages, bits of steak--frozen veggies---AND ICE CREAM----

"So aren't you going to tell me that I shudda shut those drawers?"---- Himself asked.
"I thought about it", I replied, but, I decided it's time we cleaned it out anyway!"
-and we both began to laugh--
I suppose Himself and I must just look at the lighter side here--the lighter side meaning "ME" on the scales, with no ice cream--- which is now gone--
-Who knows how long all the "this and that" was in there---and now there is more room to perhaps only put what we have planned for dinner each night-----

Lord love a Duck! --- In a Pandemic, with a husband who just retired, ---the 2 of us, really have come a long way--

--AND-----it's FRIDAY---- a weekend ahead of us! ---
Mom always said, "Patience is a virtue, Possess it if you can-"---

I sure am trying to make this a good day!
