Hump Day? Feels more like Friday
Wednesday, November 25, 2020
This Hump Day, my work-week will be over. Thanksgiving and the day after are both paid holidays where I work. This will likely be my last weekend off until Christmas as we still have a lot of work to get our huge project ready for the release on 12/19. But as soon as I get off today, I'm off to Rockford for part of the long weekend.
Yesterday I had written my blog without checking the forecast and then gone into my home office to log onto work. When I went around through the sun room to get to the kitchen for more coffee, I noticed it had snowed and was still coming down. My first thought was, "I did NOT wish for a White Thanksgiving!" We do get them now and then, but not usually. It wasn't sticking to the streets or sidewalks (or my driveway) and by noon, the snow was melted and gone.
Today's forecast: Rain likely. Thunder possible. High 47F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%. And for tonight: Overcast. Slight chance of a rain shower. Low 41F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. I don't think it's gonna snow again yet.
