Day 18 & Day 19

Well, yesterday was my "cheat meal" day, so I caved and got Taco Bell for the first time in 3 weeks, and it was amazing! Going without it for 3 weeks was a lot harder for me than it sounds, coming from someone who usually gets it once or twice a week. I ended up going a little overboard with my calories though, and didn't exercise, but man, I felt great, and I haven't felt full in awhile, and felt like I was getting enough salt somehow, whatever that means.

So, sure enough, this morning I've gained a couple pounds, which is a lot considering how little I've lost so far, but I'm hoping I can burn it back off soon enough. Yesterday made me think that maybe I'm not having enough calories every day, and I need to be on top of making sure I have enough just as much as I make sure I don't have too much. I think breakfast is important too, even if I'm not hungry. I think I can also counteract eating more calories by exercising every day consistently, and eventually increase the time spent exercising. I spent a half hour just now playing Just Dance on the Wii, and I finally do feel a little bit if that "high" people talk about after exercising. It kind of feels similar to how you feel when at the end of riding a crazy rollercoaster.

    I've been away from home for the past 10 days, and I'm glad to see that as of Sunday, you are still doing your exercises and working to find just the right number of calories to eat each day. Looks like you are on the right track! It will all start coming together soon, and your weight will steadily be going down.

    Exercising feels horrible for me if I haven't eaten enough or haven't had a balanced diet! You'll figure out what works eventually, but it can be frustrating to get there...
